INGREDIENTS
- 12 X 250ml Flour
- 30ml Cream of Tartar
- 30ml Carbonate of Soda
- Salt
- 750ml Butter or Margarine
- 60g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 12.5ml Golden Syrup
- 397g (1 Can) Condensed Milk
- 10ml Vanilla
Filling
- Caramel
- Jam or Vanilla butter Icing
- Sift flour, tartar, soda and salt in a big bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light
- Add eggs one by one and beat well
- Add syrup to condensed milk and beat it in egg mixture
- Add vanilla and stir well
- Add flour mixture and mix until stiff doe
- Use meat mincer to form 5cm long biscuits
- Bake until light brown at 160oC
- Allow to cool before icing two together at a time
