INGREDIENTS
- 250ml Sugar
- 750ml Flour
- 250ml Boiling Water
- 15ml Baking Powder
- 250ml Butter
- 250ml Casting Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 5ml Vanilla
- Salt
METHOD
- Melt sugar and mix with water
- Cream casting sugar with butter
- Mix egg yolks one by one, then vanilla
- Add dry ingredients and syrup
- Fold stiff egg whites in
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180oC
- Cool off and add icing
